Fue asesor t\u00e9cnico principal de la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Trabajo (OIT) para el Fondo Visi\u00f3n Cero en Am\u00e9rica Latina. Empez\u00f3 su labor en la OIT en 2011 y fue coordinador pa\u00eds en la Oficina de Proyectos de la OIT en Bolivia. Tiene una amplia experiencia en materia de condiciones laborales, seguridad y salud en el trabajo, cadenas de valor y desarrollo empresarial. Tiene un doctorado en Desarrollo y Cooperaci\u00f3n por la Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco, y tres maestr\u00edas, una en Desarrollo Regional por la Universidad de Burdeos IV, otra en Econom\u00eda Social y Desarrollo Local por la Universidad de Ja\u00e9n, y la \u00faltima en Desarrollo y Ayuda Internacional por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Anteriormente se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como funcionario p\u00fablico, investigador acad\u00e9mico y funcionario de ONG y universidades en Am\u00e9rica Latina y Europa.

He was the ILO Principal Technical Advisor for VZF in Latin America based in the ILO Office of Mexico and Cuba. He began to work at the ILO in 2011 and was the country coordinator at the ILO Project Office in Bolivia. He has extensive experience in labour conditions, occupational health and safety, value chains and enterprise development. He has a PhD in Economic Development and Cooperation from the University of the Basque Country and three master\u2019s degrees. One in Regional Development from the University of Bordeaux IV, another in Social Economy and Local Development from the University of Ja\u00e9n, and the last in Development and International Aid by the Complutense University of Madrid. He previously served as a public official, academic researcher, and official for NGOs and universities in Latin America and Europe.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n
